seriamente, dopo vent'anni che ci penso, casualmente una risposta.

ok, negli ultimi giorni la casualità sta esagerando: settimana scorsa imparavo a suonare layla di eric clapton e l'altro ieri mentre andavo al campetto dello stadtpark un gruppo di ragazzi inizia a suonarla per strada. un paio di giorni fa ho ricominciato a vedermi friends e il giorno dopo da un rivenditore temporaneo di poster all'università trovo 4 diversi poster di friends, assieme a citazioni di chandler bing su vari siti. ieri mattina durante una pausa studio ascolto su youtube un'altra canzone fatta dallo stesso gruppetto allo stadtpark: shape of my heart di sting, tra i video correlati spunta with or without you degli u2, canzone che non mi fa impazzire, decido comunque di ascoltarla dopo anni e la sera, guardando una puntata di friends, nella colonna sonora mettono with or without you.

ho ri-iniziato, per la non so più quale volta, a guardare californication e il mio giudizio da ex serietvdipenendente è che la serie con hank moody è la più volgare, eretica, romantica, introspettiva, geniale e splendida mai prodotta e messa in onda. duchovny e i tutti i matti sceneggiatori che hanno realizzato tutto ciò dovranno entrare nell'hall of fame non delle stelle del piccolo schermo, ma in quella dei grandi personaggi dell'umanità. a mani bassissime.

scopro or ora la santificata data che dette i natali al nostro comune amico john anthony frusciante jr. ringraziando virgin radio, mi riempio il cuore di ipocrisia e auguro un felicissimo compleanno al chitarrista divenuto tristemente famoso per la citazione sotto falso nomignolo nel titolo del celeberrimo "jack frusciante è uscito dal gruppo", la cui altrettanto ricordata frase "mi è caduta la catena" ha riempito le pagine delle smemoranda di innumerevoli generazioni di sognanti studenti. 

by the way, mi sia concessa la simpatica allusione, l'animo dolce e fragile e la straordinaria capacità di cantare in falsetto del sopracitato ragazzo, se non vi è già nota, la si può facilmente percepire nel seguente video.

radiohead

il video di lotus flower dei radiohead è veramente delirante. 5 minuti e passa di yorke che balla da solo e canta in falsetto, tutto in bianco e nero. la canzone è però, dopo un rapido ascolto, l'unica dell'album (the king of limbs, uscito pochi giorni fa) che mi piace. sinceramente preferisco i precedenti album un po' più "rockeggianti" e meno elettronici.
